Opps I can't believe it has already been a whole month since I have updated :/ my bad.
Where to even begin?? Everything has been Amazingg :)) God is soo good! For the last month we've studied topics such as Father heart of God, fear of the Lord, relationships, missions, Holy Spirit & (this week) Compassion through Jesus! All have been absolutely amazing!! The Lord has and is still doing soo much within me. Literally shaping and molding me into who He has made me to be!
A couple weeks ago my Compassion DTS went up to Eagle Rock (other YWAM base in Colorado up in the mountains) where we joined with the Boarders DTS for 2 weeks. It was great to connect with everyone and just get away. It felt like we were at a retreat! Every time i would walk out the doors of our building my mind would be blown away from the beauty of God's creation. I definitely miss the beach, but i definitely got a good trade :)
Now for some adventure talk... ;) a couple friends and I decided to go hiking...well it was more like climbing... up Eagle Rock mountain while we were there! It was soo much fun :) i think it took us a total of probably 3 or 4 hours to hike and then get down. It was so beautiful! We took out time getting up (my kindof style)... taking a couple breaks on our way up. One of the times we sat and sang songs.. lol. We sat up at the top for awhile and just looked around at the beautiful Rocky Mountains!! Going down the mountain might have been one of my favorite parts... we basically slid down on our butts like a slide :D yaa buddy!!! i looved it!! Anyways we also had the opportunity to go snowboarding in Breckenridge.. so i of course took up the offer :) Had a BLAST and lets just say i wont be going back to skiing anytime soon ;) lol.
In 2 days my DTS is heading to IHOP (International House of Prayer) in Kansas City :D It has been over a year since I have been there so i am SUPER excited about that!!! I get to see my sister, bro-in-law and my little nephew (ok not really him but i will get to see my sisters adorable belly), rest of my famiy & friends!! Also, my AMAZING brother Jared is coming to visit me March 9-13!!!! I can't wait to have my other half out here with me!!! :) :) we're going to go snowboarding and just explore Colorado together!!! :D
